I'm restoring a pair of Model 15's. I got the cabs completely stripped of components including the vent tubes.(Paid only 50 bucks!) These are the ones that came with a plastic vent tube that had a front flange glued to the front side of the baffle. I know that earlier 15's had a cardboard tube glued in place (but I dont't know if it was to the back or inside of the cutout). I'll make mine of either but I need to know the inside diameter and length of the tubes. Could someone who has a pair let me know the dimensions? I'd be much obliged.

I'll measure mine tonight and let you know later tonight if no one has done so by then.

I have a single model 15 that I bought at a flea market for $7 years ago. It's out in the garage, I have never really made use of it, but I've got it!

I am a hoarder, what can I say?!

Keep an eye on the auction site Jim. I have seen more then a few pairs of the 15 port tubes sell for rather cheap in the recent past.
Quite often buyers want just the speakers and horns shipped so when you see 15s being auctioned you might send an email to the seller if he is willing to part them out.

I rebuilt my 15's a few years ago. I bought NEW ports from Parts express. They had the EXACT same size port I needed. It's NOT Altec..but as long as it's the same diameter and depth there should be no difference.
